We commemorate the 83rd birth anniversary of our National Artist for Dance, Ramon A. Obusan.
Kuya Mon, as a dancer, choreographer, stage designer and artistic director, has achieved phenomenal success in Philippine dance and cultural work. He is also a researcher, archivist and documentary filmmaker. He has broadened and deepened our understanding of Philippine cultural life and expressions.
“One Man’s Impossible Dream: The ROFG Story” is written by his sister Dulce A. Obusan. It revolves around his quest of documenting quintessential folklife of the people.
His legacy lives through the Ramon Obusan Folkloric Group as bearers of our living culture and the legacy of our artistic traditions through Philippine folk dance and music.
The ROFG find ways of sharing the knowledge and passion of our cultural traditions even during this challenging times.
